The trip began with a meeting
DSC02279.jpg
with Rep. Raymond Walker in Nashville.
Rep. Walker escorted us to the
DSC02286.jpg
House of Representatives.
Some of the parents and students
DSC02284.jpg
sat in the balcony above the House Floor.
While some were getting their seats
DSC02292.jpg
others were getting their instructions for 'paging'.
As Representatives began to fill the house floor
DSC02295.jpg
the 'pages' were getting their final instructions on how to serve the legislators.
After a long hard day at the Capitol
DSC02326.jpg
the parents rest and talk while the kids...
have fun and play in the pool.
DSC02296.jpg
Even the little ones
DSC02324.jpg
joined in on the fun.
Some of the group even demonstrated a few
DSC02319.jpg
unique ways to enter the pool simultaneously!
After a great time at the pool
DSC02309.jpg
some of us decided to check out the gym.
After a good nights rest
DSC02342.jpg
it was time for our big day at the Capitol.

We always take plenty of dads on the trip
DSC02346.jpg
to keep the little boys in line...

and the big boys too!

Time to visit Sen. Jerry Cooper and find out
DSC02384.jpg
how busy the life of a legislator can be if you want to be a servant of the people.
Our final stop was to visit Rep. Bill Harmon
DSC02386.jpg
to promote Home Education in Tennessee!
Two of the younger kids get their picture taken
DSC02363.jpg
while they wait on the rest of the group!
Some of us had our picture taken
DSC02369.jpg
outside the Capitol after our big day was complete!
A few kids discovered a Korean War Memorial
DSC02373.jpg
Dylan even decided he was a
DSC02372.jpg
fallen soldier from the war.
Families enjoyed their time together.

Students read the many names

on the memorial bricks!
